Past Deans have a silver double knot bar on the College ribbon.  Current Deans wear the silver double knot with the gold frame around the ribbon.  Stars cannot  worn on any of these ribbons.  Current Deans are required to wear their Dean status.  Past Deans and any Authors may select between their Dean/Author ribbon or a College ribbon that indicates the number of courses they've passed.  Both cannot be worn  at the same time

The Awards Board:

The Board shall consist of:
The Chief of Operations
The Head of the Membership Dept
The Head of the Awards Division

Misc:

It should be noted that none of the above is required to be followed by any Cell/Unit. Nor is any Cell/Unit required to submit candidates for awards, such as the Rebel of the Year Award. This division strongly recommends that no Cell/Unit copies any shown ribbon or device, with the exception of the multiple award designators. In recognition of the sacrifices made by the serving Armed Forces worldwide, MFI specifically refrains from using the same ribbons associated with those groups. We ask that our member cells and units follow our lead, and likewise refrain from using the actual insignia or awards of any Military Unit in honor of those who have "Served on our Behalf".
